“Valerian and Laureline” is a French science fiction comic series about two agents of the Space-Time Service, which operates from Galaxity – the capital of the future.
The drawings are by Jean-Claude Mézières, the texts by Pierre Christin. The comics were colored by Mézières’ sister Évelyne Tranlé. The first story, “Les Mauvais Rêves” (Bad Dreams), appeared on November 9, 1967 in issue #420 of the comic magazine Pilote. The series has been translated into various languages, for example English, Swedish, Portuguese and German.
