Asterix and Cleopatra – Let the Gauls eat Cake! | ACC #122

“Asterix and Cleopatra” is the sixth book in the Asterix album series by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. In the story, which appeared in episodes in Pilote magazine in 1963, Asterix, Obelix and Getafix travel to Egypt to help one of Getafix’s friends, the architect Edifis. He has been commissioned by Queen Cleopatra to build a palace within three months, otherwise the crocodiles will eat it. And his competitor would like nothing better.

In this episode, Jarmo looks at this comic book and re-evaluates the film that was made based on the comic.
