Recently, Disney released the long awaited trailer for Zootopia 2, due to release in theaters this November! It seems most people are excited for this animated movie – however, a certain notorious subset of “critics” on YouTube are very upset about this film, that being the anti woke grifter reviewer crowd. However, this isn’t the first time they’ve gotten mad at something animated, since there is a long, rough history of anti woke animation “criticism” between these people, with folks like Matt Walsh, Tactical Templar, Rev Says Desu and others getting mad at animated media like Beauty and the Beast, She-Ra, Re:Zero, Toy Story, and plenty more. Let’s look at these poorly founded anti woke “criticisms” and discuss what REAL criticism of animation should look like. OtterlyNoah does this job:

Recently, Marvel dropped a new trailer for Ironheart, which while there are a lot of very legitimate criticisms that can be absolutely be made from its trailer, it inevitably has brought out a particularly detestable subset of film reviewers known as the “Anti-Woke” crowd. These people don’t know how properly criticize film, and would rather just get mad at superficial things from mainstream movie companies like Disney.
