In the story, Lucky Luke follows the trail of the notorious criminal Cigarette Caesar after he escapes from prison and flees to Mexico.

Lucky Luke in Desperado City | ACC #089

In the year 1948 the comic artist Morris (Maurice de Bevere) went on a trip to the USA with his colleagues André Franquin and Jijé (Joseph Gillain). Nevertheless he was able to send new comic pages to his publishing company in Brussels. So in 1948 the story “Lucky Luke in Desperado City” was published in Spirou Magazine, where Lucky Luke encounters the Pistol Brothers, two notorious criminals who are threatening Desperado City…
