In 1949, comic artist Morris was still in America with his colleagues Jijé and André Franquin. Nevertheless, he delivers the episodes of a new adventure of his cowboy Lucky Luke: “The Buffalo Creek Gold Rush”, a satirical look at human greed.
In the year 1948 the comic artist Morris (Maurice de Bevere) went on a trip to the USA with his colleagues André Franquin and Jijé (Joseph Gillain). Nevertheless he was able to send new comic pages to his publishing company in Brussels. So in 1948 the story “Lucky Luke in Desperado City” was published in Spirou Magazine, where Lucky Luke encounters the Pistol Brothers, two notorious criminals who are threatening Desperado City…
“Grand Rodeo” (french “Grand Rodéo”) is the next comic adventure about the cowboy Lucky Luke created by Morris (Maurice de Bevere), first published in Spirou Magazine in 1948. In this Lucky Luke takes part in a rodeo, but one of his opponents, Cactus Kid, is not playing fair.
